It's so good to see Noel's work on the net, although it is impossible to enjoy the sheer luminescence of the silk in digital form! I have been lucky enough to purchase ten of Noel's paintings for my house in Miri, each bringing a new interpretation of his home, people, and the wildlife of the rainforest into vibrant life.
ReplyDeleteHis work is simply beautiful, his interpretations of rainforest life in Sarawak offer a unique opportunity to own a piece of history. Sadly, both the wildlife and the enivronment he so sensitively portrays are threatened. This makes his work all the more poignant, and important.
Best wishes to you Noel, on your blog and your work, may it continue from strength to strength and bring a little of your rainforest home to those of us who may never truly experience its beauty for ourselves.
